This easy satay sauce recipe will delight your tastebuds. It’s smooth, creamy and a little spicy, making it an easy way to enhance the flavour of your next meal. Grab your favourite peanut butter and give it a go!
Use it as a dipping sauce for fresh home-baked hot chips, or carrot and celery sticks. Whip it up in no time to pair with chicken, lamb or fish.

Satay Sauce
Ingredients
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (gluten free if following a gluten free diet)
- 2 garlic cloves crushed
- ½ tsp ginger ground
- ½ tsp chili flakes
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
- ¼ cup lemon juice (or half a lemon)
- ¼ cup water
Instructions
- Add all ingredients (except for the water) in the order they appear in the ingredients list.
- Slowly add the water, stirring until well blended and the sauce lightens in colour.
