Taking next to no time to prepare, this creamy treat is destined to please all taste buds. Pair with whipped cream, ice cream or yoghurt, and top with berries, nuts or dried fruit for a full range of fun flavours.
Avocado Chocolate Mousse
A decadent chocolate mousse made in minutes!
Equipment
- 1 Blender or Food Processor
Ingredients
- 2 avocados ripe
- ½ cup maple syrup
- ½ cup raw cacao powder
- ¼ cup coconut cream
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tsp salt
- Toppings of choice (see notes for examples)
Instructions
- Add all ingredients (except for your toppings) to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
- Spoon the chocolate mousse into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour.
- Add your chosen toppings and serve. Enjoy!
Notes
Due to the rich flavour and creaminess of this chocolate mousse, I like to include toppings that add a bit of tang and crunch!
Seasonal fruits and chopped nuts are a great addition. My choices usually include kiwifruit slices, raspberries or pomegranate, chia seeds & pistachio.
