Avocado Chocolate Mousse

A decadent chocolate mousse made in minutes!

Equipment

  • 1 Blender or Food Processor

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados ripe
  • ½ cup maple syrup
  • ½ cup raw cacao powder
  • ¼ cup coconut cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Toppings of choice (see notes for examples)

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients (except for your toppings) to a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  • Spoon the chocolate mousse into serving glasses or bowls and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour.
  • Add your chosen toppings and serve. Enjoy!

Notes

Due to the rich flavour and creaminess of this chocolate mousse, I like to include toppings that add a bit of tang and crunch!
Seasonal fruits and chopped nuts are a great addition. My choices usually include kiwifruit slices, raspberries or pomegranate, chia seeds & pistachio.
