Why We Love It

This easy satay sauce recipe will delight your tastebuds. It’s smooth, creamy and a little spicy, making it an easy way to enhance the flavour of your next meal. Grab your favourite peanut butter and give it a go!

Use it as a dipping sauce for fresh home-baked hot chips, or carrot and celery sticks. Whip it up in no time to pair with chicken, lamb or fish.

It’s also incredible poured over rice noodles, drizzled over salad, or for dipping spring rolls. The possibilities are endless!

Satay Sauce

This sauce pairs well over roasted vegetables, with chicken skewers, or as a dip with homemade hot chips.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce (gluten free if following a gluten free diet)
  • 2 garlic cloves crushed
  • ½ tsp ginger ground
  • ½ tsp chili flakes
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup lemon juice (or half a lemon)
  • ¼ cup water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients (except for the water) in the order they appear in the ingredients list.
  • Slowly add the water, stirring until well blended and the sauce lightens in colour.
